With the new VOB 2019, DIN 18356 Parquet and wood block flooring work, in the version dated August 2019, was published alongside other ATVs. The former ATV DIN 18367 Wood block flooring work was integrated into this ATV DIN 18356.

In the new commentary on DIN 18356 Parquet and wood block flooring work, in addition to the changes, numerous passages have been included that take account of flooring technology that has continued to develop since the publication of the 2011 commentary.
